Meet Me On Monday

Questions:

1.  The thing that scares me the most is __________?
I have been having trouble with my feet hurting and my body hurting, like I
have the flu.  I know that my feet hurt because of Plantar Fascia and then I
know that I need to go to the doctor to have my Fibromyalgia checked.  But
what really scares me is that my Mother died for Lou Gehrig and they tell me
that it is not hereditary, but are they sure?

2.  Do you like nuts in your Chocolate Chip cookies?
Absolutely not!  When I bite into those warm delicious cookies, I want to feel
the chocolate slide down slowly without any chunks.

3.  If you couldn't change the channel, what tv show would drive you from the   room?   Two and a Half Men.  I think that this show is absolutely horrific.

4.  Pulp or no pulp in your Orange Juice?
It really doesn't matter as long as it tastes good.

5.  Who do you miss the most?
My Parents.  They have both passed away and I would love to have just a
few more days with them.  But I do know that one day, I will see them in heaven.

Meet Me on Monday

Questions:

1.  What is your favorite food?
2.  What color scheme is your bedroom?
3.  Do you carry a donor card?
4.  In your opinion, is the glass half empty or half full?
5.  Vanilla or Chocolate?

1.  My most favorite food would have to be Mexican.  Especially, hot sauce.  But then I would need to add the soft flour tortillas, tacos, enchilada's, lettuce, cheese and not to mention chips.  Every time I get the chance to so to San Antonio, TX, I make a point to go to the "Alamo Cafe".  I am sure that there may be other great places to eat while there, but for me, the "Alamo Cafe" is the tops.

2.  The color scheme in our bedroom is an odd color.  I did paint it myself, but it is time to change.  I would have to say that it is between a bronze and olive green.  Any suggestions are welcome.

3.  On my driver's license I have it marked to be a donor.  My thought on this, is if anyone could benefit from some of my organs, than so be it.  What will I need them for anyway?  I plan on having a new body when I enter those Pearly Gates!

4.  I would love to say that my glass is always half full, but reality is that alot of times it is found only half empty.  I think that this is because, I try to do everything  and find myself dragging.  And for that, I fear that I have left my younger girls handicapped.  I have always done for them and I just pray that the Lord will bless them with a mate that will have patience.  I know that they are able to do for themselves, but it has always been easier to let me do it.  Does this have anything to do with the question?!?!?!?

5.  Vanilla would always be my choice for homemade, but when it comes to store bought (only Blue Bell), then the flavor will always come up Chocolate.  Yummy!

Questions:

1.  Crunchy or soft tacos?
My preference would always be crunchy tacos, but I will eat the soft ones.

2.  Do you scrapbook?
I have tried at times and would love to have the time to start again.  I would love to
take my daughters pictures from the time that they were born until now and start a
scrapbook for them.  I have seen so many things that I would love to do for them.  I
guess that I just don't know where or how to really start.

3.  Do you take any daily medications?
Yes, my girls call them my happy pills.  Actually, they are only cymbalta, feldene,
premarin and then my vitamins.  It is so funny though.  When the girls start getting
on my nerves, so to speak.  The first thing, they say is,"Mother, have you taken your
pills today.  I probably wouldn't have to take them, if they would only behave!!!!

4.  What is your favorite sound?
I have a small water fountain in my bathroom, that my Tommy bought me.  I just
love the sound of water softly moving.  It is so refreshing and clean.

5.  Where were you born?
I was born in the city of Dallas, Texas.  All of my mother's family live there.
Especially, my Aunt Arvina (my mother's only sister).  So even though I don't live
in Texas at the moment, I always make a point to stop by Dallas and see my most
     favorite Aunt.

Meet Me on Monday

Questions:

1.  What jewelry do you wear 24/7?
I always wear my wedding band, and a necklace with two charms that my Mandy
and my Bridgett gave me when they were teenagers.  One says Mother and the
Best. Both are parts of a heart.  I would rather wear this than any other necklace I
      have.

2.  Do you twirl your spaghetti or cut it?
When I cook the spaghetti, I always break it in half, just like my Mother would.

3.  How many siblings do you have?
I have a wonderful brother, Stephen, and two lovely younger sisters, Tammy and
myself
Karen.  Both my brother and youngest sister are pastors and then myself and
Tammy.  Who are awesome housewives that stay at home and keep watch over
     our grandchildren.
My brother, Stephen

Karen & Hubby, Johnny

my sister, Tammy & Hubby, Steve

4.  Were you named after anyone?
Wouldn't it be wonderful to say yes, but like Anne Shirley in Anne of Green Gables, I
really don't think so.  I am just plan Sherree Diane Shaw Chmitlin.  But unlike Anne.
I really do like my name.

5.  Coke or Pepsi?
I suppose if I had to choose between the two and Diet Dr. Pepper was not an option,
then it would have to be coke.

Meet Me on Monday

Questions:

1.  What is your favorite way to eat potatoes?
2.  What was the last package that was delivered to your house?
3.  What is your favorite scent that you love to smell?
4.  Do you smoke?
5.  Are your parents married or divorced?
---------------------------------------------------------------
My Answers!
1.  My favorite way to eat potatoes are as baked potatoes, with lots of butter and bacon bits.

2.  The lst package that was delivered to my house was the Zumba DVD for the Wii.  It came through the UPS.

3.  My most favorite scent is the smell of the county fair.  The popcorn, hotdogs, corndogs, funnelcakes, cotton candy and the fresh lemonade all wrapped up into one.  Those smells remind me of times when my parents had their ICEE trailer out at the FAIR grounds in Lubbock, TX, every year.  Those were great times.

4.  I tried to smoke when I was in high school and after one smoke I realized that it was not for me.  But I keep a pack in my purse, just to look cool, that was, until my Daddy found them and believe me, it was not pretty.  Never again.  Can't stand the smell.

5.  My parent's divorced after 36 years of marriage. Both are with the Lord now.  Here is a picture I found of them on the day that they got married.
