Six Word Saturday

A Sweet Yellow Succulent Blossom Surprise

After another Saturday of working down at the trailer, I came home and was looking through the sun room window.  Now this is something I try to do once a day.  I always look at my succulents in the sun room, but I have found that going outside and looking from the outside in, I often find new treasures.

Well, today was one of those days.  I almost missed it.  I thought that I had saw a little yellow and I went back and looked and yes.  There it was,  tiny, but there.  My plants can make me so happy.  Sometimes, I think I should just let my Mandy have all my plants.  She does so well with them.  But then they make me smile and I realize that without them, I would need something else.

I am not sure what this little plant is, but I am sure my Mandy would.  Should we ask her?
One would ask, how can a little plant make one smile?  I don't really know, it just does.  So if you need a smile, you might give those little succulents a try.  I started with the little baby butts ( called lithrops) and little toes.  But beware, they can be addicting.

  1. Well that was a fun surprise! A tiny yellow flower springing forth! How pretty.

I love flowers and plants...but I do not have a green thumb at all. I have lots of allergies and don't go outside to work in the yard at all.

But I do love it each time my hubby brings me home flowers..and I enjoy them so much.

    Happy weekend!

  2. I normally kill all flowers, but since my Mandy got me turned on to succulents, I have not killed too many. Blessed weekend.

  3. What a pretty little plant. It is a succulent. I believe a sempervivum of some kind. I am not really sure but the pretty yellow flower has the shape. Or even a type of sedum. It is definitely not an echeveria.

  6. I have horrible luck with plants, though I dutifully put in some amount of a garden each year. I'm always so surprised and pleased when there are positive results! I'm glad you caught that surprise.

    Thanks for playing 6WS!
