Follow Friday Four Fill-In Fun

This week’s statements:

1) I can’t help it, but every time I see that my cell phone is vibrating and is ringing a certain ring I smile. The reason being, that I know that my Shelby (granddaughter) is calling me.  Her ring tone is the Cupcake Song.

2) Every time I smell cotton candy I am immediately transported back to my childhood.  When I was growing up, my parents owned ICEE OF WEST TEXAS, and every Fall, when the fair would come to town, they would take the trailer and set it up.  Then for the duration of the fair, they would sell the drinks.  It was always a comfort to know that they were close if I needed them.

3) When I was little I wanted to be a Librarian.  For as long as I can remember, I have loved books.  I can still remember having three baskets on my bike.  One on the handle bars and then the double ones that fit over the rear tire.  Oh, the books that I could bring home.  I never got to be a Librarian, but I do believe that I could start a Library from my house.  A house without books is dull indeed.

4) If I had to eat only one meal for the rest of my life it would be tacos. I am sure that there are a million other foods, but tacos are easy and can be fixed so many ways.  Bean tacos, chicken tacos, turkey tacos, beef tacos and the list can go on and on.

I realize that I missed the correct day, but I still wanted to become a part of this blog hop.  Hilary from http://wwwfeelingbeachie.blogspot.com/, comes up with a list of four statements with a blank for us to fill in on our own blogs.  Then we can email her our answers a http://wwwfeelingbeachie.blogspot.com/.

  1. I love tacos!!!! I have a very specific way to make them though - so I wouldn't have any variety (at least for the first couple of weeks).

The picture of your granddaughter is precious! Love that her ring tune is the Cupcake song - how cute is that!

So sorry to hear of your loss. We lost our German Shepherd in December and we are still mourning her. They are so much of our families and our lives. It's just devastating when they're gone.
