I know that I am 2 days late for this, but the way my days have been, I am surprised only to be 2 days late.

1. Have you ever had surgery?
Yes, I have had both knees and shoulders, carpel tunnel on right hand,   trigger finger surgery on right thumb, gall bladder (this was done while we were stationed in Turkey) , appendix and surgery on my left breast(everything was okay).

2. Ever ride in an ambulance?
When I had a light heart attack in Lubbock, TX, I had gone out to the base hospital and they had to transfer me Methodist hospital.  Then when our Gabrielle was small, she had to be take to Baptist Hospital, because of her asthma.  Actually, we were at the hospital under the oxygen tank when the year 2000 came in to being.

3. How are you in a medical emergency? Panicked? Calm?
I am probably the only one that is calm.  As long as they are breathing, I have no problem.  My first question is "Are you dying? , fine, them you will be okay".

4. Do you have a garden? Flowers or veggies?
I do have a garden.  I have tomatoes, bell peppers and radishes that I plan on planting this year.  I also have a succulent garden, but I keep all of these in pots.  That way when the weather changes, I can bring them into the sunroom and not loose them like my lovely Mandy did this winter.  She lost so many, but I am hoping that she was able to cut them back and they will come back.

5. When did you move out of your parents house?
I moved out of my parent's home the day that I got married.  It was understood throughout my life, that unless you were married, you would not be moving out.  I never thought to question my Daddy.  I knew that his word was law and there was no questioning it.

Girl, you have been through the medical wringer! Man alive! That's probably what makes you so calm in emergencies!
